The (number in brackets) is last year's placing

Every year I have a bit of a moan about one result or another and invariably it comes in this category. Don’t get me wrong, I think that last year's Worlds was a fantastic competition but it does seem to happen quite often that the best EVER competition winner comes from the most recent season. Surely not? Does everybody have such a short memory?

That said, the margin between Belgium 2007 and the runner up France 2004 was massive so maybe there is something in it after all??

The Worlds in Germany in 2000 round out the top three.
