Anti-Doping
At the 2006 annual meeting, IMGA agreed to use the list of prohibited substances published annually by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) as a reference for the Mounted Games rule on the use of artificial stimulants.
The structure and presentation of the appropriate FEI rules were all changed on April 5 2010. The document published at that time is now regularly updated and all current details are available on the FEI's "Doping and Controlled Medication" page.
Further information can be found on the FEI Clean Sport website.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct presents a set of recommendations. It aims to set out a minimum set of standards, which may be extended in certain cases. It is based on the acceptance that Mounted Games is an inherently dangerous sport, and that it is impossible to eliminate all risk. It is, however, possible to identify and minimise risk and to take sensible precautions to handle situations which may arise, while maintaining the ethos of the sport.
The 2008 version of the Code of Conduct can be downloaded here in PDF format.
