Note : For the first time ever an MGAL organised event had to be abandoned because of bad weather. Light rain turned into a voilent storm which flooded the playing area and made conditions unacceptably dangerous, resulting in an early end to the competition after the end of the first session. This was accepted by all riders in all teams and the result stands as determining the Luxembourg Team Champions for 1998.
